Stickhandling
Soft hands, quick hands, eyes up. Dribbles, dekes and toe drags that build real puck control.
Coming soon to iPhone and Android. Made in Alberta for players 7 to 17.
Short, guided off-ice sessions at home for hockey players 7 to 17. A coach's voice, a timer that can't be skipped, and a ladder from House to Pro.
A stick, a ball, a net and some floor. Nothing else to buy.
Puckmaxxing isn't a video library kids have to motivate themselves through. It runs the session.
Each new drill opens with a short narrated walkthrough: how to set up, body position, where the ball goes and which part of the blade touches it.

Toe Drags
Roll your top hand to cup the ball with the toe, then pull it in.
Real timers you can't skip, spoken coaching cues, and a tap to start and finish each set. It keeps working with the screen dimmed.

Work
“Keep the ball close. Look up every loop.”

Sessions on different days earn promotions, one skill at a time. Streaks, badges and a gap to close keep kids coming back.

A player can be AA in Shooting and House in Edges. Seeing that gap is what gets kids training the thing they'd rather skip.

Soft hands, quick hands, eyes up. Dribbles, dekes and toe drags that build real puck control.

Wrist shots, snap shots and backhands into a net at home, with a quick release and accuracy.

Balance, agility and single-leg strength. The off-ice base a strong stride is built on.

Bodyweight squats, lunges and planks matched to age. No weights, ever.
Every player starts at House. Training on different days opens the next rung, and above A a short Level-Up Test the app times itself has to be passed too.
Days prove the habit. The test proves the skill.
A missed test names the one movement to work on. It never says “failed”.
Ranks slip slowly if training stops, and one session holds them. Vacation mode pauses that, and no rank ever drops below A.
Your job is setup and a quick check-in. Puckmaxxing handles the rest, and never pushes kids into comparing themselves with anyone else.
Approve promotions in one tap
Or ask for two more sessions first. If you're busy, it approves itself after a few days.
A weekly email
What your player trained, what moved and what's next, every Monday morning.
No leaderboards, no friend feeds
Players only ever see their own progress.
Minimal data, no ads
No photos, location or surnames. No third-party analytics.
Cancel in a couple of taps
No phone calls, no hoops, no guilt-trip screens.
A hockey stick, a ball or practice puck, a net, and about 8 by 8 feet of floor. Tape or a shoe works as a marker. Nothing else to buy.
No, and we won't pretend it does. Skating happens on ice. Edges & Athleticism builds the balance, edge control and leg strength that a strong stride depends on.
Players 7 to 17. Sessions run about 12 minutes for younger players and up to 20 for teens. Drills are matched to the player's level, not their age.
No. You create the account. Your player types a six-character code on their own phone or tablet and they're in. You can unlink a device anytime.
A nickname, birth year, an avatar colour and their training sessions. Never photos, location, surnames or anything they type. No ads, and we don't use third-party analytics.
Training on different days earns the chance to move up, one skill at a time. Above A, a short Level-Up Test the app times itself has to be passed too: days prove the habit, the test proves the skill.
The work timer can't be skipped, and players tap to start and finish each set. Reps they report only change how hard their next session is, so there's nothing to gain by fibbing.
Pricing is being set for launch. There will be a free way to start, and cancelling will take a couple of taps, with no phone calls and no tricks.
Puckmaxxing is coming to iPhone and Android. Parents set up the account; players join with a six-character code.
